STM Cyber is a dynamically developing company operating in the cybersecurity sector. In August 2024, we began a collaboration aimed at increasing brand visibility in Google search results and acquiring valuable website traffic, which was also intended to help generate high-quality leads that could result in acquiring new customers.

Challenges

Before the campaign started, the client struggled with low visibility in Google Search. Competition in the industry was high, and previous Google Ads activities were not bringing the expected results. The key goal was to increase the ad impression share and reach the right target audience interested in STM Cyber’s services.

Two Smart campaigns were running on the Google Ads account, which were not properly configured, making it impossible to generate and track results. The client needed a new strategy, a budget proposal, and regular optimization of new campaigns.

How we increase lead quality?

Consultation with the client
We talk. By asking the right questions, we obtained information from the client about their services. We now know which services they want to promote and which are the most profitable.

Plan of the campaign
We planned Search campaigns based mainly on intent-driven keywords to avoid paying for overly broad search terms, which was crucial given the typically high cost per click in the cybersecurity industry.

3.

Conversion tracking
It was a major challenge because we had to implement changes on the client's website, such as adding a contact form on every page describing the services and adapting the form to the capabilities of Google Tag Manager.

4.

Monitoring and optimization
We regularly analyzed the campaign results, adjusting the budget and ad content for the best performance.

Start of the Google Ads campaign in August 2024

We launched Google Ads campaigns in August 2024, and after just a few days, they generated a very valuable lead, rated 5 by the client (on a scale of 1-5).

Next months

Every subsequent month of the campaign’s operation brought leads falling within the range of 3-5 in terms of rating.

The lead generated in January 2025 was rated 5 and led to a valuable sale, which was associated with a large profit, especially in relation to the relatively low costs of Google Ads activities. In this case, therefore, the high cost of the lead did not matter, as this lead resulted in a large contract.

Result

Since August, we’ve been crushing the competition!

In January, despite higher lead acquisition costs, we generate exceptionally valuable contracts. One lead generates a huge contract (rated a five).

We have also improved the strategy of Smart Campaigns, which were previously not optimally configured for a service business and did not generate leads. Today we successfully acquire valuable leads for our clients.
